ABOUT:

Schuylkill Banks is a Philadelphia riverfront destination located south of the Fairmount Water Works Dam. Schuylkill Banks is part of the Schuylkill River Trail, a 23-mile link from Philadelphia to Valley Forge National Historical Park, and part of the nationally designated Schuylkill River National Heritage Area. You can find Parks on Tap set up right under the Walnut Street Bridge.

EVENTS:

  • Wed 6/20: Happy Hour from 5-7 PM with the Schuylkill River Development Corporation. 50% of the proceeds will go to support the Schuylkill Banks.

  • Thur 6/21: Sly Fox Beer Presents an SRT Party on the Banks! The SRT Ale pays homage to our beloved Schuylkill River Trail, and proceeds go towards making the trail an even better, safer place for Philly to enjoy!

  • Thur 6/21: Join Roots2Rise from 6-7PM for free yoga in the park! Donations are encouraged and those who donate will receive a free drink ticket to use at Parks on Tap that day.

  • Thur 6/21: Enjoy a drink and a snack with Parks on Tap before a free movie is hosted at the park!

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

A 10-minute walk from 30th Station for SEPTA Regional Rail or Market Frankford Line. Also accessible via SEPTA bus routes 7 & 12 at 23rd and Locust and SEPTA bus route 9 at Schuylkill Avenue and Chestnut Street

PARKING:

The nearest parking lot to the Walnut Street Dock is at 24th and Sansom Streets. Walk up the stairs at 24th and Walnut to get to the Walnut Street Bridge, walk along the bridge towards the river, once you're past all of the buildings, walk down the set of stairs that leads to the Banks. To access the trail from this lot without taking stairs, you can walk down 24th Street to Locust Street, turn right on Locust Street and walk one block to 25th and Locust to access the at-grade crossing into the Banks.
