About:

Established in 1895, Clark Park is in the heart of Philadelphia’s University City neighborhood. With more than 300 trees, it covers nine acres between Baltimore Avenue, Woodland Avenue, 43rd Street and 45th Street. The park offers a basketball court, an open field, a playground, statues, and several paths.  It also hosts various events, such as music and arts festivals and a weekly farmers market.

During Parks on Tap, Shakespeare in the Park, an annual park tradition, will present The Two Gentlemen of Verona, July 27 to 31 for FREE!  And, July 29 is a special Dog Friendly night co-hosted by the PSPCA and Baltimore Pet Shoppe.  Cross-dressing, betrayals, outlaws and love abound in Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Join Philadelphia’s finest actors and a troupe of community swing dancers for this comedic tale of love and friendship.
