About:
Jefferson Square Park was established in the 19th century. During the Civil War the park was used by the Union Army as an encampment site. Afterwards the park was reconstructed using the Rittenhouse Square Park plans. The park’s granite retaining walls and pillars are identical to those installed at the same time in Rittenhouse Square. Three sides of the park are surrounded by residential row home areas of South Philadelphia and the north side is bordered by Washington Avenue.

8/5 Charge Gym Bootcamp 6:30 pm | Charge is sponsoring a FREE run and bootcamp that ends at Parks on Tap so make sure to sign up for the group located at 9th and Christian where the event starts
