Azalea Garden


Parks on Tap kicks off the 2018 season at The Azalea Garden! 

HOURS:

THURSDAY *1 - 10PM | FRIDAY 4 - 11PM
SATURDAY 1- 11PM | SUNDAY 12 - 10 PM
*note extended hours for Opening Day

ABOUT:

The Azalea Garden is located between Boathouse Row and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The fan-shaped garden boasts various annuals and perennials such as daffodils, irises, crocuses, and tulips, as well as hosting over 150 species of azaleas and rhododendrons. The park has been the setting for countless wedding ceremonies and now serves as a relaxing spot for an afternoon of enjoying a few drinks with friends and family at Parks on Tap.

EVENTS:

Join Roots2Rise every Thursday from 6-7PM for free yoga in the park! Donations are encouraged and those who donate will receive a free drink ticket to use at Parks on Tap that day.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Accessible via SEPTA bus route 38 and route 43 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

PARKING:

Limited parking available at the Waterworks Drive parking lot off of Kelly Drive. Paid parking available at the Philadelphia Museum of Art garage off of Anne d’Harnoncourt Drive.
