ABOUT:

Located along Germantown Ave, Lovett Park is a one-acre park adjacent to Mt. Airy's branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia. Lovett Memorial Library first opened in 1885 and was expanded in 1961. As part of the Free Library's 21st Century Libraries initiative, the park was fully renovated and modernized again in 2017 to provide a comfortable place for relaxation and socializing.

The park, deeded by the Lovett family to remain public open space in perpetuity, was renovated as part of the Civic Commons initiative. Parks on Tap is the first public event at the new look park.
