ABOUT:

Formerly called the "Spring Garden Water Works", Glendinning Rock Garden is a cozy secret park located along the Schuylkill River under the West Girard Overpass. This charming spot is home to lively ponds, winding park trails, trickling waterfalls, and foundation that is overgrown with plant-life. Glendinning Rock Garden is the perfect picnic spot, tucked away and secluded from the city.

EVENTS:

Join Roots2Rise every Thursday from 6-7PM for free yoga in the park! Donations are encouraged and those who donate will receive a free drink ticket to use at Parks on Tap that day.

BIKING AND RIDE SHARING

We're tucked away this week at Glendinning Rock Garden, so here are some directions to help you find Parks on Tap!

If you're biking from Center City off Kelly Drive, make a right on Sedgley Drive and stay straight until it turns in Poplar Street. At Poplar and Girard Ave, make a left onto Girard. Finally, make a right onto Brewery Hill Drive!

If using Uber, put in Brewery Hill Dr and ride it out 'til you see steps. Take those stairs down into Glendinning Park and you'll see our beer garden!

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Accesible via SEPTA bus route 32 at Poplar Dr. and Girard Ave, then a five minute walk down W Girard Ave to Brewery Hill Dr. 

PARKING:

The nearest parking lot is located under the West Girard Overpass. There is also a variety of parking along Kelly Drive.
