FDR Park Gazebo & Boathouse


Parks on Tap will have a main beer garden set up in front of the FDR Park Gazebo WED - MON. We will also extend the beer garden to the Boathouse FRI - MON!

HOURS:

WED + THURS 5 - 10 PM
FRI + SAT 1 - 11 PM
SUNDAY 12 - 10 PM
MONDAY 12 - 10 PM (special extended hours for holiday)

ABOUT:

FDR Park is located in South Philadelphia near the Sports Complex. In addition to sports fields, the approximately 350 acre park provides trails for walking and running, convenient fishing spots along Edgewood and Meadow Lakes, and lawns for picnics. Audubon Society of Pennsylvania has said that FDR Park is one of the best places in Philadelphia to observe birds because it contains a variety of different habitats, including wetlands and waterways.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Accessible via SEPTA Broad Street Line from the AT&T Station at Broad Street & Pattison Avenue. Also accessible via SEPTA bus routes 4 and 17 located at 20th and Pattison Ave.

PARKING:

Street parking available in addition to a parking lot nearby at the American Swedish Historical Museum

EVENTS:

5/24: Happy Hour from 5-7pm with the Friends of FDR Park. 50% of the proceeds will go to support FDR Park.

5/25: Yoga Happy Hour 6:30-7:30pm hosted by Roots 2 Rise. Suggested donation: $10. Those who donate will receive a $1 off drink ticket.
